EDQM- Published updated list of drafts of monographs for the European Pharmacopoeia

EDQM has published a statement with the updated list of substances which the drafts of its monographs have been revised for future inclusion in the European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur.). The drafts are found in Volume 31 – No 3 of Pharmeuropa. And through it, is possible to identify which CEPs will be impacted by these revisions.

The Texts for comment database contains proposals for new and revised monographs and general texts that are intended for inclusion in the European Pharmacopoeia and are submitted for public comment. In the case of proposals for revision, text to be deleted is crossed out and replacements or additions are underlined

The monographs of Ph. Eur. reflect the quality of the substances available in Europe, and help to ensure the quality of products traded on the continent, been also used as a reference in other regions. Therefore, the EDQM reinforces the importance of this stage of contributions. Users of CEPs are invited to provide comments on draft monographs published in Pharmeuropa 31.3 before 30 September 2019.
