It introduced the requirement of prior marketing authorization, along with quality control and traceability principles that remain foundational to Brazil&#8217;s regulatory system today.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The law predates ANVISA itself by 23 years. When the Agency was created in 1999 through Law No. 9,782, it inherited and began administering the framework that Law No. 6,360 had already put in place. Since then, the law has been amended repeatedly, most recently through <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vitapharmaconsulting.com\/noticias\/2026\/07\/02\/lei-no-15-440-2026-comprovacao-registro-pais-origem\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Law No. 15,440\/2026<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, to keep pace with the evolution of the health and pharmaceutical sector.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Half a century later, Law No. 6,360 remains the legal backbone for medicinal product marketing authorization in Brazil, the reference point from which decades of resolutions, normative instructions, and regulatory guides have since been built.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":1185,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"inline_featured_image":false,"_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"categorias":[22],"class_list":["post-1184","noticias","type-noticias","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","categorias-brasil-anvisa"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.4 -
